The castle of Avrilly includes several buildings: the castle, the porch from the 17th century, the orangery, the dependences and the entry pavilions from the 19th century . |
 |
The 15th century frontage is the oldest one. Facing the landscaped park, the frontage is typical from the medieval architecture: fortified with watch towers, buttresses and drawbridge

The pavilion-porch was built in the 17th century by Francois Garnier, adviser of king Louis XIII. His armorial bearings and monogram can still be seen on the frontage. |

The most recent frontage, visible from the road, was built in the 19th and 20th centuries. It's part of the huge transformation of the estate at this time. A park was also created with several ornamental lakes and moats surrounding the castle. Entry pavilions, dependences and railings were also added.
